In most cases the Standard Profile water test is a good place to start. However, sometimes there are circumstances that may require additional or more specific testing.

For example, if your Standard Profile test indicates high amounts of nitrites or nitrates in your water sample. This could indicate the presence of fertilizers. Or if there are sudden changes in your water’s color, taste, or smell. Such as a fuel or a petroleum smell in your water.
Other reasons to consider testing might be your proximity to locations such as industrial zones, waste disposal or town disposal areas, golf courses, etc.
